It's true you start the day a little apprehensive, let’s face it you’re going to be spending time in the coastal waters. That means jumping off ledges into the sea and swimming into caves. Aside from all that, the sea is very cold, that’s a given, based on the fact this is taking part in the UK, it still adds that extra element to the activity. We’re pleased to confirm the satisfaction completing this activity outweighs any initial fears. Overall, it’s just awesome from start to finish. Coasteering in Bournemouth is amazing, so much fun…

You’ll have to travel about 35-45 minutes to get to the starting point but don’t let that worry you as it flies by. So, sit back in the minibus and take in some of the sights as you travel out of the city centre. You’ll soon be pulling into the car park and before you know it you’ll be changing into your wet suits and ready to go. Just make sure you’ve packaged your swimsuit. After a quick, but important safety briefing, it’s time to start walking down to the coastline. Coasteering in Bournemouth is amazing, so much fun, so make sure it's in your weekend plans. You have a choice of a 9:30 or 1:30pm start time, the morning slot is a toughie for sure, but our favourite as you still have the whole day ahead afterwards. You’ll need to leave your hotel around 8:30am, which is particularly difficult if your quiet night turned into a messy one. However, we would recommend the morning activity slot as it gives you the rest of the afternoon to fit in 1 or 2 more activities. The activity lasts 2-3 hours, which means you'll finish around 12:30pm or 4:30pm. With the afternoon session, you’re likely to be back in the hotel by 5:30pm, for a couple hours break before heading back out.

During the activity you will swim, climb onto and over rocks, visit caves and occasionally battle the swirls around the coast as you coasteer. You will experience different height jumps and you will certainly experience a thrill, excitement, and an adrenaline rush.
